McClain County RescueOn December 23, 2001, we were called to McClain County, Oklahoma where 20 horses were being starved to death. The conditions were unbelievable. There were twelve mini horses 7 were studs, 5 were mares. We had no idea, if any were pregnant. The mini's didn't look bad, but when we felt them it was horrible. They were skin over bones. 3 were studs and the other 4 were mares. One mare had a baby on her side that was literally draining everything out of her.
