Grace   Grace   Grace, May 2007

Grace came into our rescue program on January 25, 2007. Grace was an Animal Cruelty case that the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division had been working for the last 8 months. Grace came with 7 other horses that were all previously starved. Grace is a beautiful, Bay, Mare. Today, they look great and are ready for a new loving forever home to call their own. Unfortunately, after all the snow and ice melting most of these guys look pretty dirty. Try to look past the mud and see what beautiful creatures these horses are. Due to our large rescue numbers right now, we don't have the ability to access each horse to determine their riding back ground. We are very sorry for this! We just don't have enough man power to access 60 plus horses. Each horse adopted through our program will be completely up to date on vaccinations, deworming, have a current negative coggins, and their feet trimmed. We will be more than happy to work with our adopters with training in the Spring and Summer months, if needed, at half cost. In the meantime, We need to find homes for many of these wonderful horses, so that they can be individually worked with by their new family. If you are interested in giving Grace a wonderful, loving, forever home to call his own, please submit an application today.

Update 2/13/07 - Grace is estimated to be 5 years old. She has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations and deworming. Grace is halter broke and broke to lead. She needs someone to spend time with her and show her love and TLC. Grace stands about 14 - 14.2 hands tall.

Update May 2007 -- Grace has blossomed into a beautiful Bay. She is a little leery of people, but very curious. I think that she would be a wonderful horse for someone that can spend time with her and allow her to trust again. Once you have Grace on Lead, she is very accepting and allows you to mess with her. Grace needs a loving, forever home to call her own. She is truly a beautiful girl.

Grace has been adopted to a wonderful family in Edmond, Oklahoma. Grace has found her match. Grace and her new family made an instant connection and we couldn't be happier for both of them. Grace will be spoiled rotten and extremely loved at her new forever, loving home. I know if Grace could talk, she would say, "Dreams really do come true"!
