Sundowner came into our rescue program on September 28, 2013. Sundowner came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Sundowner is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Sundowner is estimated to be 4 years of age. He is super sweet. He loves attention, stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Sundowner was a stud when he entered into our program and has since been gelded. Sundowner has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Sundowner was picked for our 4th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Trainer Kelci Goad. Kelci will be working with Sundowner for the next 120 days, turning Sundowner into a dependable riding companion. Kelci will be going against 11 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 10 Youth Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 30, 2015 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Sundowner will be available for adoption immediately following the competition on May 30, 2015. Sundowner is a sweet boy and loves attention. Sundowner has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Sundowner has also been freeze branded for his protection. Update June 1, 2015 Sundowner is still seeking his forever, loving home. Sundowner is extremely well trained and will make anyone an excellent horse. Sundowner has received 140 training by Kelci Goad. Kelci has taken him to Clinton Anderson's facility in Texas and rode him through Clinton Anderson obstacles/program. Sundowner is an amazing horse and you certainly can't beat the amount of training this boy has received. Sundowner is still with Kelci Goad and she will use him as a lesson horse until he finds his forever, loving home. Sundowner is super sweet and loves attention. He has an eager to please personality and will do anything he is asked to do. Sundowner has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Sundowner has been adopted to a wonderful family in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Sundowner is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy found the forever, loving family that he deserves, where he will receive an unlimited amount of love and attention.

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
