Aztec came into our rescue program on September 29, 2019. Aztec came into our rescue program from a hoarding case in Poteau, Oklahoma along with one other horse. Aztec is a Beautiful, Grey Spotted, Appaloosa, Gelding. Aztec is estimated to be 8 years of age. Aztec is a sweet boy and loves attention. Aztec is very thin, body score of a 2. Aztec is a super sweet boy and loves attention. Aztec has a long road ahead of him. We will update as he improves. Please consider making a donation towards Aztec's Rehabilitation.

Update January 2020 Aztec is now seeking his forever, loving home. Aztec is still gaining weight and looking better as each day goes by. Aztec is a beautiful boy and ready for a wonderful family to call his own. Aztec is not broke to ride but ready for training. He has a lot of potential and will make someone an excellent horse. If you are looking for a solid gelding to start training yourself, he is the one. Aztec stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Aztec has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental, and hoof maintenance. Aztec was picked for our 9th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Youth Trainer Madison Williams. Madison will be working with Aztec for the next 130 days, turning Aztec into a dependable riding companion. Madison will be going against 5 Youth Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We have a total of 14 trainers competing. Competition is set for May 16, 2020, at Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue's Facility at 21701 East Britton Road, Harrah, Oklahoma. Aztec is a sweet boy and loves attention. Aztec has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Aztec has also been freeze branded for his protection. Update June 30, 2022 Aztec has returned to our rescue program at no fault of his own and is seeking his forever, loving family. Aztec is now 11 years of age. Aztec is super sweet and loves attention. He can be difficult to catch from time to time. Aztec is broke to ride but I would not consider him to be finished. With some additional time and training, he will make someone an excellent horse. Aztec has been adopted to a wonderful family in Greenwood, Arkansas. Aztec is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this handsome boy found the forever, loving family he deserves, where he will be showered with love and attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
