Orlando, October 2007

Orlando came into our rescue program on May 30, 2007. Orlando came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a Cruelty Case along with 2 other horses. Orlando is just a weanling, estimated to be around 6 - 8 months old. He is in extremely poor condition. This poor baby doesn't have an ounce of fat anywhere on his body. A baby shouldn't have to suffer this way. We have no idea where his mother is. He came with his Daddy and another gelding. Orlando is a beautiful, Sorrel & White, Paint, Stud Colt. He is a sweetheart and loves apples. I think that he takes after his daddy, when it comes to those apples. Our vet had to split the apple between them. Orlando has a long road to recovery. He will not be available for adoption until he is fully rehabilitated. We will update with additional information soon. Please consider making a donation towards Orlando's recovery.

Orlando has been adopted to a wonderful family in Piedmont, Oklahoma. Orlando was adopted with his buddy Bootstrap Bill. They have gone to a wonderful home that will provide them everything that they will ever want or need. We are thrilled that these wonderful horses have found their forever, loving home.
