Orlando, October 2007Orlando, July 2008

Orlando came into our rescue program on May 30, 2007. Orlando came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a Cruelty Case along with 2 other horses. Orlando is just a weanling, estimated to be around 6 - 8 months old. He is in extremely poor condition. This poor baby doesn't have an ounce of fat anywhere on his body. A baby shouldn't have to suffer this way. We have no idea where his mother is. He came with his Daddy and another gelding. Orlando is a beautiful, Sorrel & White, Paint, Stud Colt. He is a sweetheart and loves apples. I think that he takes after his daddy, when it comes to those apples. Our vet had to split the apple between them. Orlando has a long road to recovery. He will not be available for adoption until he is fully rehabilitated. We will update with additional information soon.

Bootstrap Bill and Orlando are available for adoption. They were returned to our rescue due to their family being relocated out of state and they were not able to find proper housing to accommodate them. Bootstrap Bill and Orlando are super, super sweet boys. Bootstrap Bill is now 4 years of age and ready for training. He is super sweet and laid back. He loves attention and will make an excellent horse. We are adopting Bootstrap Bill and Orlando out together only! Orlando still deeply relies on Bootstrap Bill and don't feel that he should suffer any undue stress of being separated. Orlando is a sweetheart! You can do anything with this baby. Orlando is now 18 months old and he will be very easy to train under saddle once he is old enough. They are both super sweet boys and will make excellent horses for anyone. Both have a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance.

Orlando has been adopted to a wonderful family in Agra, Oklahoma. Orlando and Bootstrap Bill have been adopted along with Libby to a wonderful forever loving home. They are getting the attention that they deserve and are being spoiled rotten. We are so happy for these sweet horses to have found their family.
