Josey is a 3 year old, Sorrel, Filly. Her feet were in horrible condition upon arrival and starting to turn outward. She is a sweet girl. Once the case is closed, we will update with more information as well as updated pictures.

Update 2/13/07 - Josey is a sweet girl! Josey has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and feet maintenance. Due to our large rescue numbers right now, we don't have the ability to assess each horse to determine their riding back ground. We are very sorry for this! We just don't have enough man power to assess 60 plus horses. Training is available in the Spring and Summer months if needed. If you are interested in adopting Josey, please submit an application today. You must have an application on file, prior to scheduling a visit with Josey.
Update May 2007 -- Josey is a beautiful girl that is seeking her forever, loving home. Josey is a sweetheart, loves attention and would make someone an excellent horse.
Josey has been adopted to a wonderful family in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Josey is going to a wonderful home where she will be spoiled rotten. She is joining one of our former rescues Popeye. She will have a wonderful, loving, forever home. We are just thrilled that she found her match.
