Simone came into our rescue program on March 06, 2015. Simone came into our rescue program from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Simone is a Beautiful, Bay, Quarter Horse, Mare. Simone is estimated to be 6 years of age. She is a sweet girl and loves attention. Simone is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. Simone is super sweet and has a lot of potential and will make someone an excellent horse. She just needs time and consistency. Simone stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Simone has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl the forever, loving home she deserves, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Simone.

Update April 2016 Simone is a super sweet girl, but would benefit greatly with a little bit of additional training before being adopted. We are excited to announce that one of our Trainer's Challenge Trainer's Abby Ocker, will be putting some additional time on Simone and will be showcasing her at our 5th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer's Challenge. Simone will have 30 days on her by May 21st, 2016. Come see Abby and Simone at the Lazy E Arena. We know Simone will be ready for a wonderful home and family of her own in May.

Update June 2016 Simone is still seeking her forever, loving home. Simone has been tuned up by Youth Trainer Abby Ocker. Simone is a great horse and will make someone an excellent addition. Simone just needs a family that will give her the time and consistency she needs so that she can continue to thrive under saddle.

Update January 2017 Simone is still seeking her forever, loving home. This sweet girl just continues to be overlooked and she has so much to offer someone. Simone continues to be worked with on a weekly basis by Horse Trainer Kelci Goad. Simone stands tied quietly for grooming, saddling, and picking up feet. She is eager to please and often anticipates what her handler wants next especially during ground work. Simone will walk, trot, lope, turn, and back up under saddle. She is very smooth and easy to ride in a trot and lope. Currently we would recommend a confident rider, however, that doesn't mean she needs an experienced rider, just a confident person who will stay firm with what you are asking from Simone. She is a sweet girl that is just looking for someone to love her. She will make a great addition to anyone's family.

Simone has been adopted to a wonderful family in Luther, Oklahoma. Simone is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this special girl found the forever, loving family she deserves where she will be showered with the time and attention she craves.
