Halo came into our rescue program on October 12, 2012. Halo came from Stephens County Sheriff's Office as a cruelty case along with 10 other horses. Halo is a Beautiful, Bay, Quarter Horse, Mare. Halo is estimated to be 15 years of age. Halo stands at 15.1 hands tall. Halo is a body score of 2 and weighed 730 pounds on date of the seizure. Halo and her pasture mates have spent the last week at the Veterinary Clinic where they have all gained strength, as well as, gained a little bit of weight. Halo is super sweet and very smart. She loaded in the trailer with no problem and loves attention. She needs to have her feet trimmed, as they have all been neglected. She will also need to have her teeth floated. She has a lot of weight to gain. We will update as she progresses. Please consider donating towards Halo's Rehabilitation.

Update February 2013 Halo is now seeking her forever, loving home. Halo has gained a lot of weight and looking great. She still has a bit more to gain, but doing very well. Halo is super sweet and loves attention. She is a pocket pony and one of the first horses to greet you in the pasture. Halo is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. We recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. Halo stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Halo has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl the forever, loving home she deserves, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Halo.

Halo has been adopted to a wonderful family in Norman, Oklahoma. Halo is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl will receive the love and attention that she deserves from her forever, loving family.
