StrudelStrudel

Strudel came into our rescue program on October 12, 2012. Strudel came from Stephens County Sheriff's Office as a cruelty case along with 10 other horses. Strudel is a Beautiful, Dun, Appaloosa, Mare. Strudel is estimated to be 8 years of age. Strudel stands at 15 hands tall. Strudel is a body score of 2 and weighed 770 pounds on date of the seizure. Strudel and her pasture mates have spent the last week at the Veterinary Clinic where they have all gained strength, as well as, gained a little bit of weight. Strudel is super sweet and very smart. She loaded in the trailer with no problem and loves attention. Strudel needs her feet trimmed as all of them have been neglected. This sweet girl also needs her teeth floated. She is estimated to be 3 months pregnant. This beautiful girl has quite a bit of weight to gain and a long road of recovery ahead of her. We will update as she progresses. Please consider donating towards Strudel's Rehabilitation.

Update November 2012 Strudel is now seeking a forever, loving home to call her own. Strudel is a sweet girl and tends to be a bit misunderstood. She doesn't always come to you for attention, but often when she does, she has her ears back. She has never offered to kick or bite anyone and is accepting of attention when approached in the pasture. Strudel is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. Strudel is very eager to please under saddle and seems at her happiest. She is alert and bright eyed while ridden. Strudel will make someone an excellent horse. Strudel has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl the forever, loving home that she deserves, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Strudel.

Strudel has been adopted by a wonderful family in Gainesville, Texas. Strudel is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet girl has the family that will give her the time and attention that she deserves and she will be able to have her baby in a wonderful home and safe environment. We are thrilled that Strudel found the forever, loving family she deserves.
