Echo came into our rescue program on June 9, 2010. Echo came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Echo is a Beautiful, Black, Quarter Horse Gelding. He is estimated to be 6 years of age. He is covered with wounds and it appears that someone has attempted to brand a 5 on his flank. He has wounds on the inside of his back legs, all over this body, and a wound on his front leg that is being treated and bandaged. Despite all of his wounds, he is a super sweet boy. He loads in a trailer like a pro and stands for the farrier. He needs to gain a few pounds and once we get some weight on him and his wounds healed, he will be available for adoption. We will update as he progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Echo's Rehabilitation.

Update 9/18/2010 -- Echo is now seeking his forever, loving family. Echo is a sweet boy and loves attention. Echo stands at 14.1 hands tall. He is gaining weight great, still needs to put on a few more pounds, but is doing great. Echo is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. As always, we recommend some tune up rides before hitting a trail, etc., Echo stands for the farrier and loads in the trailer. He was such a trooper during all his wound cleaning, etc., Echo is a wonderful horse that deserves a forever, loving home. Echo has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please submit an adoption application.

Update September 2013 Echo has returned to our rescue program due to unforeseen circumstances and seeking a forever, loving home. Echo is super sweet and very smart. He is broke to ride and has spent several months with Robert Hayes. Echo is an excellent trail horse, will go over all the obstacles and has been ridden by many with the youngest being 11. Echo stands for the farrier and loads in the trailer. He is such a good boy and has a lot of love to offer someone. If you are looking for a seasoned trail horse, this is the one. Echo has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet boy the forever, loving home he deserves, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Echo.
