Crystal came into our rescue program on October 12, 2022. Crystal came into our rescue program from the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office along with 4 other horses as a cruelty case. Crystal is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Mare. Crystal is estimated to be 17 years of age upon arrival into our program. Crystal is in good condition. Crystal is lame in her right hindlimb at walk with swelling around the coronary band and a defect on the lateral heel bulb at the coronary band with some discharge. There is a healing wound on the plantar aspect of the pastern. The wound was cleaned and bandaged with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. Crystal is super sweet and loves attention. She stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Crystal's Rehabilitation.

Update May 2023 Crystal is now seeking a forever, loving home to call her own. Crystal has healed from her injuries and is doing great. She has not shown any signs of lameness. Crystal is a super sweet girl and loves attention. Crystal is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. We do recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as we don't know when she was routinely ridden last. Crystal stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Crystal has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Crystal has been adopted to a wonderful family in Edmond, Oklahoma. Crystal is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that she has found her forever, family that she deserves, where she will be showered with love and attention.
