Corky   Corky

Corky came into our rescue program on August 31, 2006. Corky is a beautiful, 8 year old, Arabian, Gelding. He is a sweet boy that is underweight. He has been a bit neglected but on the road to recovery to now. When Corky came to us he had a swollen hind leg with a puncture wound. We don't know what punctured him, but he has been started on antibiotics and we have been cleaning and wrapping his leg daily. Corky also had his teeth floated and his wolf teeth pulled this week, plus deworming and vaccinations. He should start putting the weight on now that he has received all the initial care. He is a sweet boy and loves his meals. I think that he is happiest when he see's his breakfast, lunch and dinner coming. He doesn't stop talking until his head hits the bucket. He is a special boy. We will update soon on his adoption status.

Corky is a sweet boy that is searching for that loving forever home. Corky does have a swollen hind leg and we have been treating it over the past several weeks, but the swelling does not go down. Corky shows no signs of lameness on this leg. He is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent family horse.

Corky is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, trimming, teeth floated, and has a current negative coggins. No lameness, mild enlarged hind ankle.

Corky was adopted to a wonderful family in Piedmont, Oklahoma. Corky has finally received his forever, loving home. Corky and his new owner made an instant connection and we are thrilled that he is going to such a great home.
