Captain JackCaptain Jack
Captain Jack, September 2007

Captain Jack came into our rescue program on May 30, 2007. Captain Jack came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare as a cruelty case along with 2 other horses. This beautiful boy has been nearly starved to death and it appears that the other horses were eating his tail. Captain Jack is a beautiful, 7 yr, Buckskin, Paint, Stud. Despite his condition, he has a lot of spunk and a strong will to live. This poor baby has a long road to recovery. Captain Jack will not be available for adoption until he is fully rehabilitated. Once he has gained weight, he will be gelded. We will update with additional information at a later date. Please consider making a donation towards Captain Jack's recovery.

Update 10/01/07: Captain Jack is doing great and has gained a lot of weight. He looks wonderful! Captain Jack was gelded in August. He has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. We received a lot of applications on Captain Jack and currently have an adoption pending. We will update with further information should the adoption not take place.

Captain Jack has been adopted to a wonderful family in Calumet, Oklahoma. Captain Jack is going to be very well loved and cared for. He is being spoiled rotten with apples and attention! We are so happy that Captain Jack has found his forever, loving home.
