Rookie came into our rescue program on March 18, 2016. Rookie came from the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office along with 8 other horses. Sadly, help came to late for 3 horses that suffered a died a death of starvation and neglect. The sadness each horse exhibited during the seizure was truly heartbreaking. Many of them seemed to believe that they would die on that property just like their pasture mates. Rookie is a Beautiful, Dun, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Rookie is estimated to be 3 years of age. Rookie doesn't appear to be registered. Rookie is emaciated, body score of a 1, infested with internal parasites. Rookie is gaining weight and looking so much better. He is a super sweet boy and loves attention. He stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. We will continue to update as Rookie improves. Update August 2016 Rookie is looking great and now seeking his forever, loving home. Rookie is a super sweet boy and loves attention. He would make someone an excellent horse and a great project to start yourself. Rookie stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Rookie has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Rookie has been adopted to a wonderful family in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Rookie is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are so happy this sweet boy found the forever, loving family he deserves, where he will receive the time and attention he longs for.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
