Deputy came into our rescue program on August 7, 2011. Deputy came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with one other horse. Deputy is a Beautiful, Bay, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Deputy is estimated to be 12 years of age. He is a super sweet boy, loves attention and loads in a trailer. Deputy is underweight, body score of a 2, infested with internal/external parasites. We will update as he progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Deputy's rehabilitation.
Update February 2012 Deputy is now seeking his forever, loving home. Deputy has gained a lot of weight and looking great. He still needs to muscle up and fill out a bit more, but he is doing great and ready for his forever, loving home. Deputy recently had an abscess in his front foot. He has been treated and it is healing up nicely. Deputy is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent horse. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as we don't know when he was ridden last. He is very calm and super sweet. He stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Deputy has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Deputy has been adopted to a wonderful family in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Deputy is going to be spoiled rotten and extremely well loved in his forever, loving home. We are so thrilled that this sweet boy will receive all the love and attention that he deserves.
