Haley, August 2007 Haley's hooves when seized
Haley, August 2007 Haley, October, 2007

Haley came into our rescue program on July 31, 2007, along with 43 other horses that were severely neglected and starved from the Forest Park & Spencer, Oklahoma area. We were called by the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, Forest Park Police Department and Spencer Police Department to assist in the seizure of the 44 horses. Haley is a beautiful, 7yr, black, Arabian, Mare. Haley was extremely emaciated upon arrival. She went down in the trailer during transportation. We were scared that we wouldn't be able to pull Haley through. Haley had a strong will to live and stuck with us through all her battles. Haley was infested with parasites, covered in Rain Rott, had upper respiratory infection that turned into Strangles and her feet were in extremely poor condition. One of her hooves is damaged but she does not appear to be lame on it at this time. Haley is seeking that forever, loving home to call her own. Haley is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hoof maintenance and has a current negative coggins. If you are interested in giving Haley that forever home that she desperately deserves, please submit an application today.

Haley has been adopted to a wonderful family in Ben Wheeler, Texas. Haley is going to be well loved and cared for in her new forever, loving home. We are thrilled that she has found her family and will be spoiled.
