ShadowShadow

Shadow came into our rescue program on August 9, 2011. Shadow came from the Stephens County Sheriff's Office. Shadow along with 14 other horses were severly starved and neglected in Marlow, Oklahoma. Sadly, one of the horses seized by Stephens County died within 48 hours of the seizure at the Vet Clinic, due to the extreme neglect she had suffered. The remaining 14 horses are currently in our care and being rehabilitated. Shadow is a Beautiful, Black, Quarter Horse, Gelding. He is estimated to be 12 years of age. He is super sweet and loves attention. Shadow needs to gain some weight, he is a body score of a 3, was infested with internal/external parasites. Shadow will be coming for adoption soon. We will update as he progresses. Please consider making a donation towards the rehabilitation of Shadow and the other 13 horses from Marlow, Oklahoma.

Update 12/15/2011 Shadow has gained a lot of weight back and is currently seeking his forever, loving home. Shadow still needs to gained a bit more weight and muscle up, but he looks great and is doing so much better. Shadow is a sweet boy and will make someone a wonderful horse. Shadow is broke to ride and very athletic. He has a lot of potential and will make someone a wonderful horse whether for perfomance or pleasure. Shadow has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, hoof maintenance, and teeth floating. If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please submit an adoption application or call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Shadow.

Shadow has been adopted to a wonderful family in Galena, Kansas. Shadow is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this special boy has found such a wonderful family to call his own.
