Spartan came into our rescue program on March 12, 2020. Spartan came into our rescue program from The Jones Livestock Auction. Spartan is a Beautiful, Dun, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Spartan is estimated to be 3 years of age. Spartan only has one eye. We can't determine if he as born with a genetic flaw causing one eye not to fully develop or it was injured. It does not bother him and he seems completely adjusted to having 1 eye. Spartan is a sweet boy and loves attention. Spartan is extremely thin and will need to gain some additional weight before we can evaluate for adoption. Spartan stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. He is going to make someone a super nice horse once he has rehabilitated. We will update as he improves. Please consider making a donation towards Spartan's Rehabilitation.

Update September 2020 Spartan is has gained some weight and looking great. He is now seeking his forever, loving home. Spartan is halter broke and broke to lead. He stands at 14.2 hands tall. Spartan is not broke to ride and ready for a family to start him under saddle. He tends to be a bit aloof but once caught, he is willing and enjoys attention. Spartan has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Spartan has been adopted to a wonderful family in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Spartan is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy found the forever, loving family he deserves where he will be showered with love and attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
