Keeper came into our rescue program on January 24, 2014. Keeper came from the Stephens County Sheriff's Office along with 1 other horse as a cruelty case. Keeper is a Beautiful, Roan, Appaloosa, Mare. Keeper is estimated to be 8 years of age. She was a body score of a 1, infested with internal/external parasites when she was seized by Stephens County. Keeper spent a bit of time at the Veterinary Clinic before coming into our rescue program where she gained some much needed weight. She is still gaining weight and looking great. She is super sweet and loves attention, she loads in a trailer, and stands for the farrier. We will update on her adoption status soon. Please consider making a donation towards Keeper's Rehabilitation.

Update July 2014 Keeper is now seeking her forever, loving home. Keeper is a beautiful girl that is super sweet and loves attention. Keeper is broke to ride, she is a bit on the lazy side, but eager to please. We would recommend some tuning up in a round pen or small enclosed area. This beautiful girl has come a long ways and looks great. Keeper stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Keeper has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl the forever, loving home she deserves, please call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Keeper.

Update November 2014 Keeper has spent 30 days under saddle with our Youth Champion trainer Cassandra Ruhlen. Cassandra did great with Keeper and really got her to move her feet. She has come a long way and ready for that forever, loving home to call her own. Keeper will make someone an excellent horse. Keeper has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl the forever, loving home she deserves, please call/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Keeper.

Keeper has been adopted to a wonderful family in Allen, Texas. Keeper is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that Keeper found the forever, loving family she deserves, where she will be showered with love and attention.
