Chico   Chico   Chico's   Chico, April 2007   Chico

Chico came into our rescue program on February 27, 2007. Chico came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division with Tucker. Chico is estimated to be 4 years of age. He is a beautiful Sorrel, Gelding. Chico has a large sarcoid by his left eye. Our Vet has examined it and is due back Friday to remove it. At this time, it appears to be benign, but we will have it sent off to determine for sure. Chico is about 14 hands tall. We do not know if Chico is broke to ride. He is a sweetheart and deserves a wonderful, loving, forever home to call his own. If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please submit an application soon.

Update April 2007: Chico received his surgery to remove the sarcoid and tumor by his eye. He looks wonderful and everything went very well. One of the tumors did come back as cancer, but it as all been removed and the chances are slim of a return tumor. He received his surgery last month and is ready to go to his forever, loving home. This horse is a beautiful boy, stands about 14 hands tall. He would make an excellent horse with the right amount of training. He needs to find his forever home. Please consider adopting this sweet boy!

Chico has been adopted to a wonderful family in Dallas, Texas. Chico is now owned by a 13 year old boy! We couldn't be more happy for Chico and his new owner. They will have a long, happy relationship together. I can tell that Chico is going to be very spoiled.
