Chika came into our rescue program on August 22, 2007. Chika came in with 4 other horses that were severely neglected and starved. Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office investigated these horses and called us to seize and rehabilitate. The former owner Forfeited their ownership rights and is currently being charged with Animal Cruelty. Chika is a beautiful, 15 year old, Bay, Mare. Chika is a sweetheart, loves attention and loves kids. She will stand around a group of kids all day, if you let her. She is a sweetheart and would make someone an excellent horse. Chika is broke to ride, has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, de-worming and hoof maintenance. Chika is searching for a loving, forever home to call her own. Chika has been adopted to a wonderful family in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Chika will be spoiled rotten and joining two of our former rescues Margarita and Berke. We are thrilled that this family has chosen another addition and will be giving her all the love and attention that she deserves.
