Sid came into our rescue program on March 3, 2022. Sid came into our rescue program as an animal cruelty case from the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office along with 8 other horses. Sadly, we were not able to save one of them to do a severe injury the horse had sustained and never received Veterinary Care. Sid is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Warm blood X, Stud. Sid is estimated to be 9 months of age upon arrival into our program. Sid has not received a lot of attention and is very scared and aloof. Sid is in poor condition with a body score of 2. Sid's bloodwork indicates he is anemic, which can be due to poor nutrition and parasites. We are working on calming Sid down and getting him used to being haltered and lead. Sid has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We will update as he progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Sid's Rehabilitation.

Update May 2023 Sid is now seeking his forever, loving home to call his own. This handsome boy has made an amazing transformation. With the right amount of time and training, Sid will make someone an excellent horse. Sid can be difficult to catch at first, but once caught, he is eager to please and seeking the right answer. Sid is growing well and ready for some training on the ground. Sid is halter broke and broke to lead. Sid needs work standing for the farrier. Sid loads in a trailer. Sid has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. If you are interested in giving this handsome boy the forever, loving home he deserves, please submit an adoption application or call/text/email to schedule an appointment to come visit Sid.
