Sonny came into our rescue program originally on August 4, 2006, he returned to our program on November 10, 2021. Sonny is a cute little APHA, Registered, Chestnut, Overo, Yearling Stud Colt. Sonny is in poor condition and has already endured a rough start in his short life. Sonny will be gelded as soon as he puts on a proper amount of weight. He is a sweet boy and deserves a loving forever home to call his own. I know once he fills out, he will be a beautiful boy. Sonny is halter broke and broke to lead. Donations are needed for Sonny's gelding and care. We will also be accepting applications for adoption, as soon as he is gelded he will be ready to enter into his wonderful new home. Sonny is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and has a current negative coggins.
Update November 10, 2021 Sonny has returned to our rescue due to a death in his family. Sonny has received the best care over the last 15 years. Sonny is now 16 years old. Sonny is a Beautiful, Chestnut, Overo, Gelding. Sonny is a sweet boy and loves attention. He will need some training, as he has primarily been a companion. He is super cute! With the right amount of time and training, he will make someone an excellent horse. We will start Sonny in training soon. Sonny is halter broke and broke to lead. He stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Sonny has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Sonny has been adopted to a wonderful family in Newalla, Oklahoma. Sonny is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy found the forever, loving family he deserves, where he will be showered with love and attention.
