Ivory came into our rescue program on April 04, 2016. Ivory came from the Blaine County Sheriff's Office along with 7 other horses and 26 Cows as a cruelty case. Sadly, help came to late for so many other cows and horses. These beautiful animals have been ignored for far to long. Ivory is a Beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Mare. Ivory is estimated to be 5 years of age. Ivory is a body score 4, infested with internal parasites. Ivory is a sweet girl, but takes her a minute to warm up to attention. She hasn't received a lot of hands on attention in her life, and it is clear that everything we do for our horses, she isn't used to. This sweet girl needs a lot of time and attention. We will continue to update as Ivory improves, please consider making a donation towards Ivory's Rehabilitation.

Ivory was picked for our 6th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Adult Trainer Tiffany Wegman. Tiffany will be working with Ivory for the next 132 days, turning Ivory into a dependable riding companion. Tiffany will be going against 10 Adult Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 5 Youth Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 20, 2017 at the Heart of Oklahoma, Shawnee Expo Center, Shawnee, Oklahoma. For additional information regarding our Trainer's Challenge, please visit our trainer's challenge website and follow your favorite Trainer/Rescue Horse on their journey to competition. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Ivory will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 20, 2017 through an all day silent auction. Ivory is a sweet girl and loves attention. Ivory has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Ivory has also been freeze branded for her protection. If you are interested in adopting Ivory, please submit an adoption application and get your pre-approved status, in order to adopt Ivory or one of our other Rescued Horses competing on May 20, 2017.

Update May 2017 Ivory is doing great and seeking her forever, loving home. Ivory knows how to walk, trot, back, side pass and working on spins. She would make a wonderful trail horse, though she's not super crazy on leading the trail yet. She herds donkeys in the pasture and has been exposed to cattle. She has been to a couple of barrel races as a spectator and as long as she has a confident rider, she's perfectly fine with most of the chaos. With a confident rider she will take on most obstacles on the trail, crosses logs, bridges, and most water crossings, she is still Leary of fast moving water. She can tend to be a bit herd sour at times. Someone that can take control and get her to listen despite the horses on the other side of the arena fence is a must. She very much relies on her rider to get her through new things and will be a one person horse due to the time and patience she requires to earn your trust. She is a super sweet girl and with continued training and time, she will make someone an excellent addition to their family.

Update May 23, 2017 Ivory & Tiffany are this year's 8th Place winners of the Adult division of our 6th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer's Challenge. These two did a remarkable job and quite the team! So very proud of Ivory & Tiffany for an amazing job well done. You can watch Ivory's performance with Trainer Tiffany Wegman here: Team Ivory.. Congratulations Ivory & Tiffany! Your performance is one to remember!

Ivory has been adopted by a wonderful family in Snyder, Oklahoma. Ivory is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled to announce that her Trainer Tiffany Wegman has adopted Ivory. We can't wait to see what the future holds for this amazing team. We are thrilled that she has the forever, loving family she deserves where she will be showered with love and attention.
