Charlotte came into our rescue program on November 1, 2005. Charlotte is a very pretty Bay Thoroughbred with a blaze face. She is 12 years old. Charlotte had EPM in 2002/2003. She was treated for over a 6 month period and cured. She does show some signs of the damage done, such as occasionally dragging her back feet. Charlotte was a top polo mare, before she came down with the EPM. She is still ride-able, but would not recommend cantering. She would make a good pleasure/trail horse, at a walk/trot only, she is not a performance horse. Charlotte will be available for adoption soon, so if anyone is interested I would submit an application to adopt now. Charlotte is current on vaccinations, current negative coggins, deworming and hoof maintenance. She is a sweet girl and deserves a wonderful loving forever home. Charlotte has been adopted to a wonderful family in Cushing, Oklahoma. Charlotte will be very loved and cared for at her new home. She now has an extended family of other horses and wonderful adoptive parents.
