Godiva came into our rescue program on November 10, 2017. Godiva came into our rescue program from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with 4 other horses. Godiva is a Gray, Quarter Horse, Mare. Godiva is estimated to be 7 years of age. Godiva is super sweet girl. It appears she is the mother to both Baby Ruth and Whatchamacallit. We assume she has primarily been a brood mare but will further evaluate her under saddle soon. It doesn't appear she has received a lot of hands on attention but she is extremely smart and willing. She is halter broke and broke to lead. This beautiful girl will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time, attention and training. Godiva loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Godiva has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Godiva was picked for our 7th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Trainer Stephanie Bingham. Stephanie will be working with Godiva for the next 120 days, turning Godiva into a dependable riding companion. Godiva will be going against 13 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 5th, 2018 at the Heart of Oklahoma, Shawnee Expo Center, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Godiva will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 5th, 2018 through an all day silent auction. Godiva is a sweet girl and loves attention. Godiva has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Godiva has also been freeze branded for her protection. Update April 2018 Team Godiva is coming along wonderfully. This is a great horse and certainly one you don't want to miss out on. Come see Stephanie & Godiva at our Spring Fling benefit trail ride on April 14th at Bell Cow Lake. Don't forget to submit your application to come out and adopt this sweet boy on May 5th, 2018 at Heart of Oklahoma Exp Center, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Godiva has been adopted to a wonderful family in Newalla, Oklahoma. Godiva is going to be spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this super sweet girl has found the forever, loving family she deserves where she will be showered with love, attention and time

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
