Apache   Apache
Apache, May 2007

Apache came into our rescue program on January 25, 2007. Apache was an Animal Cruelty case that the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division had been working for the last 8 months. Apache came with 7 other horses that were all previously starved. Apache is a Beautiful, Sorrel/White Paint, Stud. Today, they look great and are ready for a new loving forever home to call their own. Unfortunately, after all the snow and ice melting most of these guys look pretty dirty. Try to look past the mud and see what beautiful creatures these horses are. Due to our large rescue numbers right now, we don't have the ability to access each horse to determine their riding back ground. We are very sorry for this! We just don't have enough man power to access 60 plus horses. Each horse adopted through our program will be completely up to date on vaccinations, deworming, have a current negative coggins, and their feet trimmed and he will be Gelded. We will be more than happy to work with our adopters with training in the Spring and Summer months, if needed, at half cost. In the meantime, We need to find homes for many of these wonderful horses, so that they can be individually worked with by their new family. If you are interested in giving Apache a wonderful, loving, forever home to call his own, please submit an application today.

Update 2/13/07 - Apache is estimated to be 5 years old. He has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations and deworming. Apache is scheduled to be gelded next week. He is halter broke and broke to lead. He needs someone to spend time with him, so that he will open up. He has great potential to be a wonderful horse. Apache stands about 13.2 - 14.0 hands tall.

Update May 2007 -- Apache is desperately seeking his own forever, loving home. Apache is a cute little pony that just needs someone to show him love and trust. Apache has been gelded and does well with other horses. He needs someone to spend time with him daily and show him positive training. He stands about 13.2 to 14 hands tall. He is a beautiful Red Roan Paint.

Apache has been adopted to a wonderful family in Edmond, Oklahoma. Apache is going to get the much needed attention and love that he deserves. We are thrilled that he has found his forever, loving home to call his own.
