Stella came into our rescue program on November 12, 2009. Stella came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division. Stella is a little on the thin side, it is hard to see with her thick black coat. Stella is a Beautiful Mustang Mare, estimated to be 15 years of age. Stella stands about 14 hands tall. She is super sweet and loves attention. Stella loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. She needs to put on a bit more weight before we attempt to test her under saddle. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards this sweet girls rehabilitation.
Stella, Update January 2010 -- Stella is seeking her forever, loving home. Stella is a sweet girl. She appears to have been started under saddle. Stella is green, but with the right amount of time and daily riding she will be a wonderful horse. Stella stands at 14 hands tall. She is a beautiful horse and will make someone a wonderful riding horse. She is very calm, she has not offered to buck, kick or rear. Resistance Free Trainer, Terri Lindley has offered her training services for $100 a week to work with Stella, to the adoptive family. Stella has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. Stella has been adopted to a wonderful family in Miami, Oklahoma. Stella is going to be spoiled rotten and she is joining a former rescue horse of ours. She will be greatly loved and given the wonderful, forever home that she deserves.
