Chaplain came into our rescue program on June 30, 2021. Chaplain came into our rescue program from the County Sheriff's Office in an animal cruelty case. Chaplain is a Beautiful, Bay, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Chaplain is estimated to be 6 years of age. Chaplain is super sweet and loves attention. Chaplain was not halter broke upon arrival. Chaplain is now halter broke and broke to lead. Chaplain will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and training. We will update as he improves. Chaplain was picked for our 11th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Trainer Kayden McCune. Kayden McCune will be working with Chaplain for the next 130 days, turning Chaplain into a dependable riding companion. Kayden will be going against 9 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We have a total of 10 trainers competing. Competition is set for May 14, 2022, at Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue's Facility at 21701 East Britton Road, Harrah, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Chaplain will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 14th, 2022, through an all-day silent auction. Chaplain is a sweet boy and loves attention. Chenoa has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Chaplain has also been freeze branded for his protection. If you are interested in adopting Chaplain, please submit an adoption application and get your pre-approved status, in order to adopt Chaplain or one of our other Rescued Horses competing on May 14th, 2022.

Chaplain did a great job at this year's 11th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainers Challenge. We are thrilled to announce that Trainer Kayden McCune came in 5th place with Team Chaplain. Both did an amazing job, and we couldn't be more proud of this wonderful team.

Chaplain has been adopted to a wonderful family in Bandera, Texas. Chaplain is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this special boy found the forever, loving family he deserves where he will be showered with love and attention.
