HayGrazer came into our rescue program on February 15, 2019. HayGrazer came into our rescue program from the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office along with 27 other horses as a cruelty case. Many of the horses were unhandled prior to the seizure. The court awarded that 14 horses could be returned to the owner. HayGrazer is a Beautiful, Chestnut, Thoroughbred, Gelding. HayGrazer is estimated to be 6 years of age. HayGrazer is a sweet boy and loves attention but tends to be a bit aloof. HayGrazer was an unhandled Stud when he came into our program. He is now a calm gelding that is halter broke and broke to lead. He needs a family that will spend time with him, gain his trust and start training. HayGrazer was in good body condition but needs his hooves addressed. He was Infested with internal/external parasites. He is going to make someone a super nice horse with the right amount of time and training. He should be coming available for adoption soon. Update September 2020 HayGrazer is now seeking a forever, loving home to call his own. HayGrazer is ready for a family to start him saddle and give him a job. HayGrazer is now 7 years of age and stands at 16.1 hands tall. HayGrazer has a level head on his shoulders and an eager to please personality. HayGrazer is a sweet boy! He stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. HayGrazer has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental and hoof maintenance. HayGrazer was picked for our 10th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Youth Trainer Avery Proffitt. Avery Profitt will be working with HayGrazer for the next 130 days, turning HayGrazer into a dependable riding companion. Avery will be going against 7 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We have a total of 16 trainers competing. Competition is set for May 15, 2021 at Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue's Facility at 21701 East Britton Road, Harrah, Oklahoma. HayGrazer is a sweet boy and loves attention. HayGrazer has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. HayGrazer has also been freeze branded for his protection. Update April 2021 We have decided that HayGrazer needed additional time in training than what the competition allowed. Avery did a lot with HayGrazer but he wasn't quite ready for the next step of being ridden. We will be seeking training for HayGrazer once the competition is complete where he can receive training at his pace and not within a time constraint. He can be adopted without additional training, but we would certainly encourage anyone interested in adopting this big handsome boy to seek additional training. He has a lot of potential and will make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time and patience. HayGrazer has come leaps and bounds to where he used to be. He has great ground manners and does great with groundwork. He is a smart boy and loves attention. HayGrazer will be Available for Adoption on May 14th, 2022, to pre-approved adopters through a Silent Auction. All bids start at $800.00 on the day of the event only. The day of the event will be the only opportunity to adopt a horse with over $3000.00 of training alone, for the starting bid of $800.00. If the horses do not get adopted the day of the event, the adoption fee will be higher once brought back to our facility.

HayGrazer did a great job at this year's 11th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainers Challenge. We are thrilled to announce that Trainer Hannah Forrester came in 8th place with Team HayGrazer. Both did an amazing job, and we couldn't be prouder of this wonderful team. HayGrazer is available for adoption. He has been through extensive training, but he is not a finished horse. He needs someone that can continue to work with him and keep him going under saddle and take him to that next level of training. He has a lot of potential and with the right amount of time and training, could easily be a performance horse. HayGrazer is a sweet boy and loves attention.
