Piper came into our rescue program on February 27, 2009. Piper came in with 19 other horses from an Animal Cruelty Case in Garvin County. 23 horses were found starved in rural Garvin County, unfortunately, 3 of them had to be euthanized due to the extreme nature of their neglect. Piper is a beautiful, Sorrel, Mare. Piper is estimated to be 6 years of age. Piper is a sweet girl, she is halter broke and broke to lead. Piper is confirmed to be pregnant and expected to foal in a month or so. Piper still needs to put on some weight, specially to prepare her for foaling. Piper has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. Update Piper: Piper foaled a beautiful and healthy Steel Gray Filly on April 20, 2009. Piper is still gaining weight but she is doing great. Both momma and baby are seeking a loving, forever home together to call their own. Piper is a sweet girl, she loves attention and stands for the farrier and baby Stormy is learning what people are about and she if very curious! Both Momma and Baby are wonderful horses and would make great additions to anyone's family. If you are interested in giving these two sweethearts a loving home, please submit an application. Piper and Stormy have been adopted to a wonderful family in Roland, Oklahoma. Piper and Stormy are going to get the love and attention and that they deserve by a wonderful family. We are thrilled these two have found such a great family.
