Milkshake came into our rescue program on April 30, 2021. Milkshake came into our rescue program from the City of Norman Animal Welfare along with 18 other horses, 12 Camels, 58 Goats, 12 Jacob Sheep, 3 Llamas, 3 Alpacas, 13 Cows and 2 Oryk as a cruelty case. This was a wide scale animal cruelty case with over 30 different types of species seized, totaling over 350 animals. Milkshake is a Beautiful, Brown, Pony, Mare. Milkshake is estimated to be 21 years of age. Milkshake is super sweet and loves attention. Milkshake is in good body condition, with a body condition score 5. Milkshake has an enlarged right carpus, like due to osteoarthritis. She has severely overgrown front feet with excessively long toe and abnormal growth rings. She has a large corneal scar on the left eye and a small corneal scar on the right eye. We have Milkshake on a specialized diet and addressing her hoof issues. Milkshake has a long recovery ahead of her. We will update as she improves. Please consider making a donation towards Milkshake's Rehabilitation.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
