CinchCinch

Cinch came into our rescue program on October 12, 2012. Cinch came from Stephens County Sheriff's Office as a cruelty case along with 10 other horses. Cinch is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Shetland Pony, Stud. Cinch is estimated to be 3 years of age. Cinch stands at 12 hands tall. Cinch is a body score of 2 and weighed 394 pounds on date of the seizure. Cinch and his pasture mates have spent the last week at the Veterinary Clinic where they have all gained strength, as well as, gained a little bit of weight. Cinch is a super sweet and very smart. He loaded in the trailer with no problem and loves attention. This poor boy has an upper fixation of the patella, which causes his hind legs to lock when he walks. We are hoping with a balanced diet and proper nutrition he improves, otherwise, we will have to look into surgery options for this sweet boy. Cinch needs his feet trimmed as all of them have been neglected. This beautiful boy still has some weight to gain, as well as, be gelded. We will update as he progresses. Please consider donating towards Cinch's Rehabilitation.

Update March 2013 Cinch is looking so much better and has gained a lot of weight. He is super sweet and loves attention. His hind legs are doing better, but he still has leg lock in one hind leg, so we will have to pursue surgery. Right now, he is happy and enjoying life. He is able to run, buck and play with the other horses without problems. We hope to be able to get him the surgery he needs soon. We will update as he progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Cinch's surgery.
