Styx came into our rescue program on August 23, 2023. Styx came into our rescue program from the Logan County Sheriff's Office along with 1 other horse as a cruelty case. Styx is a Beautiful, Cremello, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Styx is estimated to be 16 years of age upon arrival into our program. Styx is very thin with a body score of a 2. Styx's blood work showed abnormal results, indicating moderately anemic. Styx has a moderate amount of pitting edema on his ventral abdomen. He has an iris cyst present in the left eye at the dorsal portion of the iris. Styx is a sweet boy and loves attention. Styx is halter broke and broke to lead. Styx has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We will update as he progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Styx's Rehabilition.

Update December 2023 Styx is doing great and seeking his forever, loving home. Styx is a super sweet boy and loves attention. Styx is broke to ride and will make someone an excellent addition to their family. We do recommend Styx be in a fly mask to prevent any additional issues with his eyes. Styx stands at 14.3 hands tall. Styx stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Styx has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, dental, and hoof maintenance.
