Maxwell came into our rescue program on January 08, 2023. Maxwell came into our rescue program from the Chickasaw Light Horse Police Department along with 10 other horses. Maxwell is a Beautiful, Red Roan, Quarter Horse, Gelding. Maxwell is estimated to be 12 years of age upon arriving at our program. Maxwell is in fair condition with a body score of 4. He is a sweet boy but can be difficult to catch. Maxwell is halter broke and broke to lead. Maxwell has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We will update as he progresses. Update May 2023 Maxwell is doing great and seeking his forever, loving home to call his own. This handsome guy is a sweet boy and just needs a family to start him with some training. Maxwell may have been worked with when he was younger, but he doesn't appear to know anything. Maxwell is halter broke and broke to lead. He stands for the farrier and loads in the trailer. Maxwell has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, dental, deworming and hoof maintenance.
