Crayon came into our rescue program on March 3, 2022. Crayon came into our rescue program as an animal cruelty case from the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office along with 8 other horses. Sadly, we were not able to save one of them to do a severe injury the horse had sustained and never received Veterinary Care. Crayon is a Beautiful, Grey/White, Paint, Mare. Crayon is estimated to be 9 years of age upon arrival into our program. Crayon is very aloof and reactive. She requires a lot of time and patience. Crayon was pregnant upon arrival and in poor condition with a body score of 2. Crayon foaled a healthy beautiful Filly on April 20, 2022. Crayon and her adorable foal, Inkblot are both doing well, and momma is slowly gaining weight. Crayon is halter broke and broke to lead. Crayon has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Update April 2023 Crayon is now seeking a wonderful family to call her own. Crayon has a lot of potential but is very scared and tends to be very aloof. She could make someone an excellent horse with the right amount of time, patience and training. Her foal Inkblot has been weaned adopted. Crayon is halter broke and broke to lead. Crayon will need work standing for the farrier. Crayon has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance.
