Don
Don,

Don came into our rescue program on January 25, 2007. Don was an Animal Cruelty case that the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division had been working for the last 8 months. Don came with 7 other horses that were all previously starved. Don is a Beautiful, Gray Spotted, Mule, Gelding. Today, they look great and are ready for a new loving forever home to call their own. Unfortunately, after all the snow and ice melting most of these guys look pretty dirty. Try to look past the mud and see what beautiful creatures these horses are. Due to our large rescue numbers right now, we don't have the ability to access each horse to determine their riding back ground. We are very sorry for this! We just don't have enough man power to access 60 plus horses. Each horse adopted through our program will be completely up to date on vaccinations, deworming, have a current negative coggins, and their feet trimmed. We will be more than happy to work with our adopters with training in the Spring and Summer months, if needed, at half cost. In the meantime, We need to find homes for many of these wonderful horses, so that they can be individually worked with by their new family. If you are interested in giving Don a wonderful, loving, forever home to call his own, please submit an application today.

Update 2/13/07 - Don is estimated to be 15 years old. He has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations and deworming. Don is halter broke and broke to lead. He loves treats! He stands about 15.2 - 16 hands tall.

Update May 2007 -- Don is a sweet boy that needs someone to love him and show him to trust again. I think that he would be a wonderful companion animal. He gets along great with all horses and he is extremely smart. He is a little leery of you but is willing to be close.

Don's Adoption Fee $300.00
