Blondie came into our rescue program on September 24, 2008. Blondie came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a Cruelty Case. Blondie is a sweet, Palomino, Mare. She is estimated to be around 20 years of age. She is very emaciated, infested with parasites, appears to have blown her knee out at one point in her life, and has a Uterine Infection. Blondie weighs in at 674 pounds. This Sweetheart gets so excited to see you throughout the day with her feed. She is so sweet and loving. She has such expressive eyes and a strong will to live. I believe that this sweet girl can make a full recovery. Please consider making a donation to aid in Blondie's Rehabilitation. She will need a lot of medical attention. We will update on her status as she improves.

Update 3-6-09 Blondie is doing great and gaining her weight back beautifully. She is a sweet girl and has really come a long ways. Blondie will be considered for adoption to the right family, as Blondie will be a companion animal only. She can not be ridden, due to her knee. She gets along pretty good, but it is very clear that her knee will not be able to handle a rider. She has been through so much in her life, that I would like her to be able to be loved and groomed daily without any undue stress added to her life. She is a sweet girl and deserves that. If you think that you may be interested in adopting Blondie, please submit an application. Blondie has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance.
