Imogen came into our rescue program on February 28, 2014. Imogen came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with 3 other horses as a cruelty case. Imogen is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Mare. Imogen is estimated to be 8 years of age. She is a body score of a 1, infested with internal/external parasites. She is slowly gaining weight and looking much better. She is super sweet and loves attention, she loads in a trailer, and stands for the farrier. We will update as she progresses soon. Update July 2014 Imogen is now seeking her forever, loving home. She is a sweet girl and loves attention. We don't believe that Imogen is broke to ride. She is still gaining weight but looks great. Imogen stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. She is a sweet girl and with the right amount of time, training and attention she will make someone an excellent horse. Imogen has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. Imogen was picked for our 4th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Trainer Angela Springer. Angela will be working with Imogen for the next 120 days, turning Imogen into a dependable riding companion. Angela will be going against 11 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 10 Youth Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for May 30, 2015 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Imogen has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Imogen has also been freeze branded for her protection. We are deeply sadden to announce that Imogen experienced a sudden acute onset of EPM. Sadly, we tried everything to save her, but the degree of EPM was so extensive and we could no longer watch her suffering. We had to make the devastating decision to humanely euthanize Imogen after 2 weeks of treatment with unsuccessful results. All of our hearts are devastated! Imogen will be deeply missed. She was a special girl and loved by many. RIP sweet Imogen! I simply can't put into words how much we miss you!

We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
