Flo came into our rescue program originally on November 16, 2011 but as returned to our program on December 28, 2014. Flo came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division along with Mater. Flo is a Beautiful, Bay, Pony, Mare. Flo is estimated to be 15 years of age. Flo is a sweet girl, very smart, loads in a trailer, stands for the farrier and loves attention. Flo and Mater seem to be very attached to each other and equally dependant upon each other. Flo is blind in one eye. She is broke to ride, but would recommend some tuning up, as we don't know when the last time she was ridden. She accepted a rider bareback with a halter and lead rope, as well as, accepted the tack. She does much better, if Mater is around her. Flo has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. Update December 2014 Sadly, Flo along with her adopted friend Asben, were found as a stray and picked up by Animal Welfare. Flo's adopted family did not come to reclaim her. Flo is now seeking her forever, loving home. Flo is super sweet and loves attention. She is now 18 years old. Flo has a great personality and gave many pony rides to the children of the former adopted family. Flo is broke to ride, however, we would recommend some tune up time in an round pen or small enclosed area. Flo stands around 12 hands tall. Flo has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance.
