Chinook came into our rescue program on November 27, 2013. Chinook came as an owner surrender with 2 other horses. Chinook is a Beautiful, Bay, Thoroughbred, Gelding. Chinook is estimated to be 6 years of age. He is super sweet. With the right amount of time, patience and training, he will make someone an excellent horse. He loves attention, loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. He is halter broke and broke to lead. Chinook has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Chinook has been freeze branded and micro chipped for his protection. Chinook was picked for our 3rd Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. He was chosen by Trainer Robert Hayes. Robert will be working with Chinook for the next 100 days, turning Chinook into a dependable riding companion. Robert will be going against 11 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 7 Youth Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for April 26, 2014 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Please call or email to schedule an appointment to visit the horses currently available in our rescue program. We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
