Bugs came into our rescue program on April 7, 2014. Bugs came from the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare Division as a cruelty case. Bugs is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Stud. Bugs was a body score of a 1 when he was seized by OKC-AWD. He has spent nearly a year at the shelter while the case was ongoing and has gained a lot of weight. Bugs is estimated to be 20 years of age. Bugs was recently gelded. He is super sweet and loves attention, he loads in a trailer, and stands for the farrier. We will update on his adoption status soon. We want to give Bugs some time to adjust to being a gelding before we evaluate him and place him for adoption. Update May 2014 Bugs is now seeking his forever, loving home. Bugs is super sweet and loves attention. He is a beautiful boy with a willing to please attitude. Bugs is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area. Bugs is doing great with other horses. Bugs has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, gelding and hoof maintenance. Please call or email to schedule an appointment to visit the horses currently available in our rescue program. We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
