Blessed came into our rescue program on November 27, 2013. Blessed came as an owner surrender with 2 other horses. Blessed is a Beautiful, Bay, Thoroughbred, Mare. Blessed is estimated to be 6 years of age. She is super sweet. She is a smart girl, but has days where everything is new to her. With the right amount of time, patience and training, she will make someone an excellent horse. She loves attention, loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. She is halter broke and broke to lead. Blessed has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Blessed has been freeze branded and micro chipped for her protection. Blessed was picked for our 3rd Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Trainer Vicki Beene. Vicki will be working with Blessed for the next 100 days, turning Blessed into a dependable riding companion. Vicki will be going against 11 Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We also have 7 Youth Trainers competing in our Trainer's Challenge. Competition is set for April 26, 2014 at the Lazy E Arena, Guthrie, Oklahoma. Blessed is seeking her forever, loving home. We recommend an experienced rider for Blessed. Blessed would make someone an excellent trail horse. Update January 2015 Blessed is now in training with Trainer Christa Dallas. Blessed has been with Christa since January 2015 and she will receive extensive training and will be featured for adoption at our 4th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainers Challenge. Update June 1, 2015 Blessed is still seeking her forever, loving home. Blessed is extremely well trained and will make someone an excellent horse. She would be a great dressage prospect. Blessed has received 140 days training by Christa Dallas. Blessed is an amazing horse and you certainly can't beat the amount of training this girl has received. Blessed is super sweet and loves attention. She has an eager to please personality and just needs that forever, loving family to take her to the next level. She will make a great trail horse or dressage prospect. Blessed has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance. We are generally available by appointment Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and anytime Friday - Sunday. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays.
